Marina Beach

The Marina is a natural urban sandy beach along the Coramandel coast on the Bay of Bengal. Primarily sandy, the beach spans about 13 km, running from Fort St. George in the north to Besant Nagar in the south and is the longest natural urban beach in India and world's second longest.

Tirupati

Tirupati is the holiest place in India, located in neighbouring state of Andhra Pradesh. Sri Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple is situated atop one of the 7 hills of Tirumala, attracting scores of Hindu pilgrims. Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park with lions and primates is situated at the foot hills. A sacred cave temple with waterfalls of Sri Kapileswara Swamy is dedicated to Lord Shiva (Kapilatheertham) is situtated on the way to the hills.

Vellore

Vellore is a city in the state of Tamil Nadu, in southern India. It's known for 16th-century Vellore Fort, with its imposing granite walls and surrounding moat. Inside the fort, the Jalakandeswarar Temple features many ornate sculptures. Nearby, the Government Museum has prehistoric relics and natural history displays.

Pondicherry

Even now a relatively peaceful town as far as tourist movement goes, Pondicherry is an enchanting and fascinating place to accommodate all of your gateway desires. Madurai

Madurai is One of South India's great temple towns, Madurai is synonymous with the celebrated Meenakshi Temple. Situated on the banks of river Vaigai, Madurai has a rich cultural heritage passed on from the great Tamil era more than 2500 years old. Madurai was an important cultural and commercial centre even as early as 550 AD.

Tanjore

Thanjavur is a city in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Its many temples include the 11th-century Brihadeeswarar Temple, a vast Chola dynasty-era complex with a frescoed interior. Thanjavur Maratha Palace is home to the centuries-old Saraswathi Mahal Library, with palm-leaf manuscripts, and Thanjavur Art Gallery, with bronze statues.

Dakshina Chitra

A venture of Deborah Thiagarajan and her associates from the Madras Craft Foundation. Dakshinachitra is an amazing place to visit, as various kinds of traditional houses have been transported to Chennai from interior parts of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala and rebuilt here piece by piece. Situated very close to Chennai City on the beautiful east coast road.

Kanchipuram

Kanchipuram is one of India's seven sacred cities and one of its loveliest temple towns. It is also noted for its handloom silks (Pattu Sarees). It is also hailed by Kalidasa as "NagareshuKanchi" (Best City among others). Popularly known as "The City of Thousand Temples" is mainly consists of Siva Kanchi and Vishnu Kanchi.

Mahabalipuram

Mamallapuram, also known as Mahabalipuram, is located on the East Coast Road.The name is said to be derived from the word "Mamallan", which means the great warrior, a reference to King Narasimhavarman I of the Pallava dynasty, who ruled the region from AD 630 to almost AD 670. Bodhidharma, one of the famous Buddhist Monk in China is believed to be the third son of a Pallava king, who travelled through Mamallapuram to China in 527 AD. It was a sea-port and many Indian colonists sailed to South-East Asia through this port town. Chinese traveller Hiuen Tsang also mentions the sea port in his travel records.
